Student-led Movements and Initiatives features organizations where students create networks, build community, or organize for a common purpose. Many initiatives fight against a social injustice or work to create change within a community. The below movements, organizations, and initiatives highlight various ways students engage in character developing activities.

Sierra Student Coalition

Their mission is “to train, empower, and organize youth to run effective campaigns that result in tangible environmental victories and that develop leaders for the environmental movement.”
