Awards

The Jon C. Dalton Institute on College Student Values recognizes an outstanding practice or program and an outstanding doctoral dissertation relevant to the field of college student character and values development. The recipient of this annual award shall receive the following:

  • Complimentary Dalton Institute registration
  • $500 award;
  • Recognition at the Dalton Institute on College Student Values;
  • Presentation of the practice/program in a program at the Dalton Institute on College Student Values; and

   The Dalton Institute is proud to announce that Shauna Morin has won the Dissertation of the Year. This award goes to the author of an outstanding
   doctoral dissertation relevant to the field of college student character and values development. Her dissertation is titled At the Intersection of
   Institutional Religious Identity and Worldview Diversity: 
Exploring Students’ Sense of Belonging at a Catholic University.
