The 2014 Dalton Institute concurrent session presenters will include leading scholars and practitioners who have studied college student character development. This annual event allows some of the most respected scholars in the field of student affairs and higher education to share their thoughts on the methods which colleges and universities can use to actively encourage moral and civic commitment, ethical behavior, and the process of character development. Keynote speakers will be in residence for most of the conference and are available to interact informally with participants.

The Dalton Institute will be held at Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL, and is expected to attract more than 250 participants from across the United States. Conference arrangements also include side trips and entertainment. Informal dress is recommended for all conference activities.
