The Clearinghouse invites college and university faculty, administrators, graduate students, and practitioners in student services and campus ministry and others engaged in research and practice in moral education in the higher education setting to submit program and practices descriptions. Criteria for Acceptance of Submission

Consideration is based on ways and extent the submission has potential to enrich the discussion and research about moral development of college students. Manuscripts will be submitted for double-blind review. Among other criteria, reviewers will primarily evaluate manuscripts on the basis of the relevance to the purpose of the Character Clearinghouse, which is to provide research, curricula, and other forms of media that relate to the moral development of college students; clarity; quality of scholarship; timeliness and accessibility; originality and usefulness to the broader audience. Authors must not self-identify within the text or references.

Accept: The manuscript is deemed worthy for publication on the Character Clearinghouse.

Conditionally Accept with Minor Modifications: Manuscripts are considered worthy of publication pending successful completion of the minor revisions noted by the reviewers. The editors will review the final manuscript with revisions submitted to ensure that authors have addressed the suggestions appropriately. Authors will submit a revised draft for a second round of review within two weeks of receiving the reviewed manuscript. The resubmission and second review does not guarantee acceptance.

Conditionally Accept with Major Modifications: The manuscript has potential for publication, however it must be revised before the publication can be featured in the Character Clearinghouse. The author is expected to analyze the suggestions made by the reviewers and adjust their manuscript accordingly. Authors will submit a revised draft for a second round of review within two weeks of receiving the reviewed manuscript. The resubmission and second review does not guarantee acceptance.

Reject: The manuscript is deemed unsuitable for publication in the Character Clearinghouse.
